TEAM NOKIDO
Team
Nokido, our competition team, is open to all Nokido Ju-Jitsu and Judo
students regardless of age and ability level. Our teams competes at
the local, state, regional, national and even international levels.
Both National and International competitions are for invitees only and
usually require a high finish at a lower level tournament. Currently
our team competes in Judo, Sport Ju-Jitsu, and Grappling tournaments.
Our upcoming tournament schedule can be found in the student section or on
the bulletin board in the dojo.
Participation on the team is not mandatory for
advancement in our school, but by competing in the high level tournaments,
competitors open up many possibilities such as competing in the World Games
(Sport Ju-Jitsu) or the Olympics (Judo). Team Nokido also hosts one
tournament annually in North Port, FL.
